COVID-19 Centre Guidelines

March 30, 2021

Dear Guests of The City of Lougheed,

We are open and welcome you to visit. Your safety is our top priority and in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic we are taking the following precautionary measures in addition to regular daily cleaning within all of our buildings:

  • Reduced core hours of 11:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Sunday. Select retailers may choose to operate outside of these hours and we recommend connecting with individual retailers directly.
  • The Eateries and all restaurants are currently open for TAKE OUT ONLY. Due to Provincial Health Regulations, consumption of food or beverage is not permitted in the Eateries.
  • The placement of hand sanitizer at all entrances.
  • Increased cleaning frequency, particularly of high touch areas.
  • A deep clean and full sanitization of all common areas overnight each evening.
  • The temporary closure of our Children’s Play Area.
  • Pausing of select guest services including complimentary kiddie stroller rentals, and coat check.
  • Pausing of all group programming and events.

With these increased precautionary measures in place within our properties, we are asking the following of our guests:

  • Facial coverings are required in the centre.
  • If you are feeling unwell, do not enter the centre.
  • Be kind and maintain a physical distance of minimum 2 meters.
  • Sanitize and wash your hands frequently.
  • Keep to your right and follow directional decals.
  • Shop efficiently and only with members of your household.

The City of Lougheed will continue to stay up-to-date on the latest information and recommendations from the Fraser Health Authority, the BC Centre for Disease Control and the Public Health Agency of Canada. Thank you for ensuring the continued safety of The City of Lougheed community.
