Our residents are more than our customers – they are the early adopters that bring SHAPE’s game changing master plans to life. To reward our loyal rental residents, the SHAPE Home Investment Program is removing the barriers to home ownership within SHAPE’s portfolio of industry-leading communities.
Each month, 50% of your monthly payments will be accrued as a credit. This credit can be applied towards up to 5% of the purchase price on any SHAPE home and is valid for up to two years from the conclusion of your rental tenancy.

Q. Is this a bank account?
A. No. It simply tracks the credits you have accrued to be applied towards the purchase of a home.
Q. How long do I need to rent for?
A. Once you sign your initial lease and the addendum, you are enrolled in the program. After 12 months of continuous tenancy, your credits will be valid to use towards the purchase of a home. The longer you rent with SHAPE, the more credits you accrue.
Q. Can I use my credits towards a sales contract I entered before my rental tenancy began?
A. No, you can only apply your credits to a home purchased after you began renting with SHAPE. You cannot apply your credits to a home purchased before the start of your tenancy.
Q. How long are my credits valid?
A. You can use your credits to purchase a SHAPE home up to two years beyond the conclusion of your rental tenancy.
Q. What if I have already purchased a shape home and have credits accrued.
Can I use them?
A. Yes, you can use your credits at the time of closing subject to the terms and conditions of the addendum.
Q. Can I purchase more than one home?
A. No. Your credit can only be applied on a single home purchase.
Q. What properties can I purchase?
A. Regardless of which community you are renting at, you can use your SHAPE credit towards the purchase of any home marketed for sale by SHAPE Marketing Corp. Currently, this includes The Amazing Brentwood, The City of Lougheed or RC at CF Richmond Centre.
