Join The City of Lougheed as we welcome the Year of the Snake on January 25 with vibrant displays, captivating live performances, and the iconic Lion Dance.

CELEBRATION DAY

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with us on January 25 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Experience live drum and dance performances, a lion dance and blessing, Chinese calligraphy, red envelope giveaways, and more, happening on the lower level near London Drugs.

LUCKY RED ENVELOPES

Receive a lucky red envelope from The City of Lougheed! Visit Guest Services with a proof of purchase (minimum $8) from the Shopping Centre from January 22 to receive a lucky red envelope. All lucky red envelopes will have a gold chocolate coin. Select lucky red envelopes will contain a The City of Lougheed Gift Card voucher (ranging from $8-$88). Maximum 1 red envelope and 1 voucher redemption per Guest throughout this campaign. While supplies last.

COLOURS OF CELEBRATION

Walk through our Colours of Celebration with ribbons of bright and festive colours cascading from the skylights. Located on the upper level across from Starbucks.

YEAR OF THE SNAKE

In collaboration with Vancouver based Chinese Canadian artist and designer Carolyn Wong, a vibrant Snake travels to The City of Lougheed. Visit the mural on the upper-level east side across from Great Wall Tea to capture the perfect photo op.

TUNNEL OF GOOD FORTUNE

Find your way through our lantern tunnel for good fortune in the new year. Located on the lower level in front of London Drugs.

WISHING TREES

Make a wish for the new year at our wishing trees. Located on the upper-level east side, near Great Wall Tea.
